To get started, head over to the Customization menu. This can be accessed from the main menu:

• Diamond Dynasty: Select Edit Uniforms.
• Road to the Show: Navigate to My Player > Equipment > Appearance.

Once you're in the editor, you’ll be able to tweak every detail of your hat’s design.

2. Choose Your Hat Style

The game offers a variety of fits that determine how the hat sits on your player’s head:

• Standard: The classic on-field look that most players sport.
• Flat Brim: A modern, streetwear-inspired style perfect for a trendy look.
• Curved Brim: For that traditional or "worn-in" aesthetic that gives a laid-back vibe.

Each style has its own flair, so pick the one that best represents your character.

3. Apply Colors and Materials

This year’s customization options allow you to adjust both the texture and color of your hat, giving you even more ways to make it yours. Here’s what you can change:

• Crown & Bill: Use your team’s colors or go for something bold and unique.
• Finish: Choose from a range of finishes to give your hat a personalized texture:
  • Matte: A more muted, low-gloss finish.
  • Standard: A clean, classic look.
  • Shiny (Satin): For a glossy, eye-catching finish.
  • Vintage Fabric: Perfect for a retro look.
• Stitching: You can toggle Contrast Stitching, allowing the seams to be a different color than the main fabric, adding extra contrast and style.

4. The Logo Editor

This is where the real magic happens! The Logo Editor lets you get creative with your design:

• Create from Scratch: Use the shape-based editor to create a completely original logo. Build it from scratch to make something that’s one-of-a-kind.
• Logo Vault: Not feeling creative? Browse the community-created logos. You’ll find everything from real-world brands to funny meme logos.
• Logo Placement: Adjust the scale and position of the logo on the front of your cap. You can even change the height and width to get it just right.

5. Add Personal Flairs

MLB The Show 26 introduces Stickers and Patches, giving you more ways to personalize your cap:

• Side Patches: You can add logos like “Inaugural Season” or “World Series” patches to the side of your cap for extra flair.
• Under-Brim Color: Give your hat that retro vibe by customizing the under-brim. The “Green Under-Brim” look is classic, but you can also match it to your team’s secondary colors for a fresh twist.

6. Save and Sync

Once you’re happy with your hat’s design, make sure to save your changes by pressing Options/Start. If you’re playing Diamond Dynasty, don't forget to apply your customizations to both your Home and Away sets, so your personalized hat shows up in every game.
