UPROOTING THE ROOT OF POVERTY
*When Poverty Becomes Generational*

Today, follow me as I address one of life’s greatest evils: POVERTY. This is why the majority of people struggle with it all their lives. Poverty is a disease with no clear diagnosis or cure. We’ve seen people who thought they had cured it suddenly return to poverty. We’ve also seen others try to escape it by stealing until they lose the war to an even worse form of poverty: CORRUPTION.

We’ve seen people born in poverty, get married in poverty, raise children in poverty, and then watch their children repeat the cycle until death claims them in poverty.

Wonder why some religious and secular leaders keep accumulating wealth and collecting from the poor, yet are never satisfied? It’s because of their poverty background and deep fear of returning to poverty.

Many educated men and women believed education would eradicate their poverty. But they later realized it only launches them into a lifelong fight against it. They work endlessly, saving, stealing, falsifying figures, and doing whatever their education exposed them to, just to stay afloat of never-ending bills, fees, and financial obligations. Until they finally submit to poverty.

Poverty is why many in positions of authority see power as a means to extort. Visit law enforcement agencies, general hospitals, higher institutions, marketplaces, highways, and byways, and you’ll be greeted by extortionists. People who, at any cost, want to make money by milking the already weary.

No wonder, at the end of most men and women, poverty wins. Because the battle was fought wrongly.

FIGHTING POVERTY RIGHTLY

1. Hate Poverty Genuinely and See It as Evil
Admit where necessary that you were poor, born poor, or inherited poverty. Poverty can be in your genes, your generation, and act like a generator. Just like poor countries that still rely on noisy, makeshift generators, poverty is both noise and a curse.

2. Poverty Hates Work and Cash Flow
Decide to do what you naturally love doing and can monetize. Our education teaches skill acquisition, but when we fail to earn from those skills, we become frustrated and averse to work. But doing what you love can’t be easily stolen. Look at the world’s wealthy: they love and enjoy doing what fights and wins the war of poverty for them.

3. Learn Contentment and Avoid the Comparison Game 🏽‍
That’s the burden of poverty most people carry and never overcome. They may have acquired wealth, but inside they still feel poor.

4. Know This Fact
Many people look wealthy on the outside but are rotting in poverty on the inside. They may be presidents, CEOs, or directors. They may have mansions, but inside them is poverty. Because the worst form of poverty is the one within. A lot of the world’s celebrities suffer from this internal poverty.

THE WORST FORM OF POVERTY
This is the one plaguing the world: poverty of the heart and conscience. Carriers are perverts. They don’t pay for what they can afford, oppress the needy, steal even when they have enough, and will do anything to make money. They are often sadistic and hostile.
