*OUR WICKEDNESS WILL NOT ALLOW GOD ANSWER OUR PRAYERS*

This is a heavy tidings from God and this message is one of such I personally do not like. When I heard the message,
*"Tell them, why are they wicked to themselves and their wickedness is the reason I'd not answer their prayers."* I knew God was speaking.
Just yesterday, I read some Realestate offers. I saw even in some of the poorest location, ridiculous rentals and sales in millions. I was like, what has changed in Nigeria, that rents have become so unreasonable.
It was my frank submission to one of my landlords, that his rent was unreasonable that made him insulted me, and God removed me from that house with immediate effect.
*THE STORY TO BACK THE ASSIGNMENT*
You know my first instinct was to write. But it dawned on me I must consult the human manual - the Bible, and I did. The passage was the summary of the message and describes our present situation of unanswered prayers because of our wickedness.
*GOD IS NOT A JOKER*
He saw Saul, in his humble and obedient state, and coronated him the first king of Israel. Not too long Saul became disobedient and God rejected his kingship - his lineage would miss such privileges.
*WHERE IS GOD*
Enemies gathered themselves against king Saul, his main allies, prophet Samuel was dead, David, he wanted to kill, had fled. Saul was helpless. Read:
*" And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled. And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets"*
*WHEN PRAYERS FAILED, SORCERY BECOMES THE ORDER OF THE DAY*
That's the state of wicked persons. They start sorcery. Doing anything and everything to hear from God but repent like Saul. Read;
*"Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor."*
Is that not our state, garri has become unaffordable, last time my customer said, she was doing me a favor selling paint rubber for 4k. I told her I'd go to bank and return. On my way back I met another seller who sold same garri for 2.8k - and we're still praying cheating and stealing from one another at the market places, offices, fuel stations religious and worship centres
*HEAR GOD'S ANSWER*
Continue to play, thinking you're praying. This is the answer Saul got;
*"Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy? And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David: because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day.*
*Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines."*
What a contrary response he got from a loving God, because of disobedience - God became an enemy
*FEAR INSTEAD OF PEACE - A PRODUCT OF WICKEDNESS*
Wickedness breeds fear and torture. Our case is not different from that of Saul;
*"Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. "*
We're now at the mercy of wicked men and women, heartless leadership from the secular and religious sectors.
*FED WITH STIPENDS & FALSEHOODS*
Wickedness has birth wicked caregivers. Saul was now being consoled and fed by a witch. Is that not our case.
We don't want the truth from God, little wonder wicked people have become our counselors, like this witch to Saul. Read;
*"And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto thy words which thou spakest unto me. Now therefore, I pray thee, hearken thou also unto the voice of thine handmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread before thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength, when thou goest on thy way.'*
*And the woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took flour, and kneaded it, and did bake unleavened bread thereof: And she brought it before Saul, and before his servants; and they did eat. Then they rose up, and went away that night."*
Not too long thereafter, Saul came under the sword and same fate transferred to his son's and followers
