📖👅🗣📖👅🗣📖👅🗣📖👅🗣 SERIES TOPIC: The Use of TheTongue MAIN SCRIPTURE: James 3 :1- 12. 🌷Warm greetings beloved friends and lovers of God. We are beginning a series on the use of the  tongue. 🌷 At the end of the series, by the grace of God, we would have learnt and be committed on how to use our tongue to the glory of God. Great blessings as you follow the series. 🌷👅The tongue, according to the Oxford Dictionary is defined as: 🌷1. The fleshy muscular organ in the mouth of a mammal, used for tasting, licking, swallowing, and (in humans) articulating speech. 🌷2. Is used to refer to a person's style or manner of speaking. 🌷👅For our purpose, we will refer to the tongue as an organ of speech. 🌷A sanctified tongue will speak blessings. An uncontrollable tongue will speak curses, abuses and defiling words. 🌷It is not possible to switch from cursing to blessing because both curses and blessings cannot flow from the same source. From the Scriptures in James 3, The tongue is to bridle or control the whole body. The bit in horse's mouth is to control the horse 🐎. A small rudder in a large ship is to control the ship and direct it as the pilot wants. 🚢🛳⛴ 🔥A small fire in a forest is capable of causing huge devastation as wild fires are started with just a spark. 👅🔥The tongue is a fire, an uncontrollable tongue is a world of iniquity. An unsanctified tongue defiles all other members of the body. 🔥The tongue sets on fire the course of nature. Finally it is set on fire by hell! Imagine that small organ what damage it is capable of, such that the whole body will be put in hellfire. 🚫You cannot control your tongue by your power only Jesus can do it in your life if you are willing and obedient. 🌷The tongue was given to us to be controlled. It has life and death in it. However it can only function in One Direction. 🌷The direction it functions is determined by its owner. Whether it is for blessings and life or for curses and death. 🌷You can choose from these two options by either yielding your life in obedience to God or living in defiance to His Word. 🌷I urge you to choose blessing and life by yielding your life in obedience to God. I did not know I will be able to attend today's evening class due to many scheduled appointments. But you see, Rogue creativity. When one is determined, it helps. I could not excuse myself from the appointment. I took my phone, I have to multitask. Seeing the pharmarsist and listening to my lectures. I refused to be distracted until I am back to my table. Yeeepppiii. I made it!!

The Scarcity of Truth🤔 🤔Truth is said to be bitter and, as such, mostly avoided. People actually prefer to be lied to and deceived. Are you surprised?❓ 🔥If you do not like the truth, it means that you have opted for the lie. If you don’t want to hear the truth, it means that you prefer to be lied to. It's not an insult. It's being real. 🌷When Jesus stood trial before Pilate, He said, "...Actually, I was born and came into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true.”" John 18:37 NLT 🌷In response to this word, Pilate sarcastically asked “What is truth?” To Pilate, truth was relative as with a lot of people today. They will tell you, "It depends on how you see it." 🌷Truth always remains truth wherever and whenever it's spoken. The truth in the north is the truth in the south. Location does not change the truth. 🌷The Word of God, the Bible, is the truth that has been established. It has endure persecutions, hatred, criticisms, rejection, and so on, but it still remains the truth. 🌷There are theories that have been adjusted because further studies or research has not supported them, but the Word of God endures forever. 🤔The Scarcity of Truth can be said to exist because people reject, hate, despise, criticize, and persecute the Word of God. They prefer the lies of Satan and are ready to believe those lies. 👿Satan's lies always look attractive and innocent on the surface. The harm may not be apparent, but the result is always disastrous. 🌷Are you willing to accept and believe the truth of God's Word, or are you more comfortable with the lies of Satan? It's a choice. 🌷As an advocate for the truth, I would like to encourage you to buy the truth, and when you do, don't sell it. "Get the truth and never sell it; also get wisdom, discipline, and good judgment." Proverbs 23:23 NLT 🌷It's when we get the truth that we can talk of wisdom, discipline, and good judgement. Without the truth, there is no wisdom. A life of discipline is far from liars. Of course, a liar does not know and can not give good judgment. 🌷Be determined to be a proponent of truth, promote the truth, and advocate for it. If we do, then there will be no scarcity of the truth. 🌷Finally, truth is a Person. If you have not embraced Him, you will be deprived of the truth. He is Jesus. He declared, "... I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." 🌷Jesus is the cure to Scarcity of Truth. He is the only Truth who can turn a liar into a person of truth and integrity.
